Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1
Season overview
Hollywood and Cinematic Stunts
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1, titled "Pacific Break," launched on November 29, 2025. Players arrived on the new Golden Coast map—a vibrant, West Coast-inspired landscape combining elements of Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Area 51. The season completely leaned into a cinematic Hollywood stunt-action theme. The classic Battle Bus was remarkably removed; instead, players entered the map via a massive Tsunami Drop on surfboards. The gameplay was heavily updated with stunt mechanics, including the ability to shoot while jumping, roll down slopes when downed, and use drivable Reboot Vans to dynamically shift respawn points. A massive new match modifier system called "Anomalies" was introduced, which randomly altered the island's rules per match. The action-packed theme was perfected by incredible crossover Battle Pass skins, including The Bride from Kill Bill and Marty McFly from Back to the Future.
